Kennedy Property Services (“KPS”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through kennedyproperty.ie and in the course of our property services, why we collect it, and your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Acts 1988 to 2018.

What we collect
- Online valuation tool: your name, email address, phone number, the property address or Eircode (if given), and the property details you enter, such as area, type, bedrooms, condition and BER.
- Enquiries: details you give us when you contact us by phone, email, WhatsApp or a website form, such as your name, contact details and the subject of your enquiry.
- Clients: information needed to provide sales, lettings and property management services, including identity documents and other information we are required to collect by law.
- Website usage: technical information such as your IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected through cookies and analytics tools.
Why we use your data and our legal basis
- To give you your estimate and to contact you about a valuation, sale or letting you have asked about. Legal basis: your consent and steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
- To provide our property services to clients. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations, including PSRA requirements and anti money laundering law. Legal basis: legal obligation.
- To understand how our website is used and to improve it. Legal basis: legitimate interests, and your consent where cookies require it.
We do not sell your personal data. We will not send you marketing messages unless you have agreed to receive them, and you can opt out at any time.
Who we share it with
We only share your data where necessary, with trusted service providers who process it on our behalf, such as our website host (Hostinger), our form delivery service (FormSubmit), email providers and analytics providers (Google). We may also share information with solicitors, buyers, tenants or other parties involved in a transaction you have instructed us on, and with regulators or authorities where required by law. Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses are relied on.
How long we keep it
Enquiry and valuation tool data is kept for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, unless you become a client. Client records are kept for as long as required by law and regulation, which is generally six years after our service ends.

Our website uses cookies that are needed for it to work, along with analytics cookies that help us understand how visitors use the site. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Your rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its use, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email john@kennedyproperty.ie. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at www.dataprotection.ie.
